Dr. Bonnie Ferrell         

Dr. Bonnie Ferrell has been practicing dentistry for over 30 years.  She is committed to providing her patients with personalized dental care that reflects the best in current technology and techniques.  To maintain that standard, she usuallly completes  more than 100 hours of contininuing education every year!  Dentistry changes, just like other technical areas and staying current is important.  Dr. Ferrell’s philosophy of attentionto each patient’s concerns and careful understanding of needs and wishes, makes dental visits comfortable and comforting. 

Dr. Ferrell grew up outside Philadelphia and graduated from Goucher College. After a brief period as a research chemist in the pharmaceutical industry, she attended the University of Colorado School of Dentistry, from which she graduated cum laude in 1978.

Dr. Ferrell practiced dentistry in Glenwood Springs, Colorado for several years and then relocated her practice to Denver, Colorado.  Dr. Ferrell was located in Downtown Denver for 20 years before settling in the Lowry community. 

Dr. Ferrell has been an active member in organized Dentistry and maintains membership in the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Metropolitan Denver Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry. In 2008, Dr. Ferrell received her fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, an achievement earned through extensive continuing education and a rigorous examination process. 

Dr. Ferrell’s honorary associations include Alpha Omega Honorary Society, American College of Dentists, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Dr. Ferrell has attended and completed numerous advanced education programs including those of The Pankey Institute, The Dawson Institute, and the Kois Center, where she has attained recognition as Distinguished Mentor and assists in teaching advanced dental procedures and techniques to other dentists. Dr. Ferrell is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, and has served on the advisory board for the Howard Dental Center. In June 2010 she was once again voted one of Denver’s Top Dentists and one of America’s Top Dentists.
