Extractions

While Dr. Ferrell's aim goal is to help her patients keep their teeth, sometimes some teeth need to be removed. Teeth that lack sufficient bone support around the roots, cracked teeth and teeth that do not have enough tooth structure above the gumline cannot be saved and must be extracted. Most wisdom teeth should be extracted, too.

We use our WaterLase laser to facilitate extractions, making the experience easier and much less traumatic. For our patients who are extremely anxious about an extraction, we are happy to refer them to one of our outstanding oral surgeons who can provide sedation for the procedure.
