Bonnie C. Ferrell, DDS

Dr. Ferrell grew up outside Philadelphia and graduated from Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland. After a brief period as a research chemist in the pharmaceutical industry, she made her way to Colorado.  Introduced to dentistry as a profession by several talented and inspirational dentists, she attended the University of Colorado School of Dentistry, from which she graduated Cum Laude in 1978.

Dr. Ferrell practiced dentistry in Glenwood Springs, Colorado for several years before relocating to Denver, Colorado.  Dr. Ferrell was located in Downtown Denver for 20 years before settling in the Lowry community in 2000.  Dr. Ferrell has one daughter, currently residing in Brooklyn, NY.  Emily is an architect and an award winning blogger known as The Gastronomista.

Having practiced dentistry for over 30 years, Dr Ferrell is committed to providing her patients with personalized dental care that reflects creative and high standards for treatment and employs state of the art technology.  To maintain that standard, she completes more than 100 hours of formal continuing education annually and devotes many more hours to self-study and research.  in addition to applying state of the art technology and techniques in the care of her patients, Dr. Ferrell’s believes in attending to each patient’s concerns, making each visit comforting and stress free.

Dr. Ferrell is an active member of many dental organizations including the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Metropolitan Denver Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry.

In 2008, Dr. Ferrell was earned a fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, an achievement completed through extensive continuing education and a rigorous examination process.

Dr. Ferrell’s honorary associations include Alpha Omega Honorary Society, American College of Dentists, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Dr. Ferrell has attended and completed advanced education programs including those of The Pankey Institute, The Dawson Institute, and the Kois Center, where she is recognized as a Distinguished Mentor. At the Kois Center she assists in teaching advanced dental procedures and techniques to other dentists. Dr. Ferrell is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and has served on the advisory board for the Howard Dental Center.

Emilee – Clinical Assistant

Emilee  was born and raised right here in Colorado and enjoys spending time outdoors. She loves sports and her favorites are baseball and football. She has worked with Dr. Ferrell for over 3 years and according to Emilee ‘it has been the best experience I could have asked for’.

Collette has lived in Colorado her entire life and iseager to do a bit more traveling of the world. She is an animal lover and avid reader. Says Collette: ‘My favorite aspect of my job is being able to assist people everyday while putting a smile on their face. I love getting to know patients and to be a positive force in what can be a stressful situation to some.’
